My notes from studying cancer from the metaphysical and shamanic perspective
Disclaimer
Hi.
This post may anger or trigger some of you. I fully accept what comes with that, and I’ll clarify what you’re about to read and why.
A number of relatives and friends have either struggled with, or died from cancer.
I’ve seen and still see way too much of it to ignore it.
I want to help solve it as it, like all other things is likely solvable in ways that are simpler than what we’re led to believe.
This post is going to share what I’ve learned from those who specialize in the work of helping to heal cancer, sharing what techniques, metaphysical concepts and potential patterns of healing they undertake to overcome the challenges. I will also add personal stories of those who went the less traveled routes in healing. This document will be updated continually with stories and discoveries.
This is NOT an “I have the answer!” post. This is a post sharing my notes as a work-very-much-in-progress, in hope those studying cancer in an official, funded capacity stumble upon this and reading it inspires some other solutions.
I am NOT a doctor, a physician, or a medical industry participant. I am an explorer and practitioner of practical, evidentially successful forms of healing which were reduced, hidden, shamed, destroyed or discredited by the established medical corporate industry.
CONTENTS
Now we’ve got that out of the way, here’s the fun stuff.
This post will be broken down into the following categories:
Emotional healing
Plant Medicine
Industrial Medicine
Traditional Medicine
Metaphysical Medicine
1. EMOTIONAL healing
Ultimately, what I’ve seen directly through friends and family members suffering this, is a part of their psyche is demonized and labeled as ‘toxic’ or destructive to some part of their life.
For the women, mostly my relatives, I cannot speak to what their challenges were. They were in boomer generation marriages, so I can only assume the impact of cultural issues that impact female emotional and mental health of that cultural time.
For the men, the ones in mind are my age range - gen X, and millennials. The common theme among these men was the shaming of anger and displays of anger. Shared stories between male friends who were diagnosed with different cancers included the observation of a father figure - usually alcoholic or otherwise addicted - losing control of their anger and abusing the mother physically, verbally or both.
The child version seeing this anger leading to such suffering then demonized anger in the self, and therefore created a form of internal divorce.
Essentially separating, demonizing and hiding a part of the self, from the self.
The key men I’m think of both labeled themselves as “I don’t get angry”, yet my gift of clair sentience (or what some refer to as clair-empathy) detected the anger clearly and when called out would often surprise the friend.
When we consider the language behind cancer - “free radical” cells, aka ‘rebel’ cells - we can engage with the concept that the cancer cells are those ideologically and ecologically divided from the rest of the human. If our body is an expression of the emotional self - which numerous credible shamanic systems across the world, and my own work demonstrates as true - then this could be seen an expression of a part of self that is aggressively divided and separated from the rest of the human.
All healing is the work of re-unification of self. Taking the divided parts of self and accepting them. Finding the shamed and ‘cringe’ parts and accepting and loving them. And so on.
2. PLANT MEDICINE
Purely from anecdotal sources, plant medicine has consistently been additive to the reduction and healing of cancer.
Comments I hear from friends who sequence between use of plant medicine and chemo are consistently expressed as, “my chemo guy says he’s shocked how quickly the chemo is working. Says he’s never seen anything like it”.
Psylicibin mushrooms, Ayahuasca, Cannabis extract oil (also known as Rick Simpson Oil) and Iboga are the ones that continually come up in stories of success.
The most common and accessible one is mushrooms. One friend specifically chained mushroom journies (including one very high dose peyote ceremony) and chemo, and only needed to do a handful of chemo sessions. He was also in stage 2 of Hodgkins lymphoma.
I met one lady who spoke of a ‘cancer protocol’ in West Mexico and claims it cured her the first time she had cancer. Unfortunately, a few years later, it seemed to come back for her.
The protocol she described sounded like a one-time, intense plant medicine experience of the lighter medicines like rapeh / hapeh and sananga, followed with Ayahuasca and then Yopo! Yopo is described like 5MEO DMT. If you’ve experienced that, it’s total ego annihilation. Anyway - I have no idea if it worked the second time.
The takeaway I got from her story, is deep inner work shifted her cancer, and the return of it may have been a deeper layer of some internal division being unresolved. I hope she succeeded and doesn’t need a round 3.
3. INDUSTRIAL MEDICINE
There’s not much I’ve seen from the corporate medical industry on this, and watching family members go through their path in that world has been deflating and hard to watch.
Chemo seems to work for some, but not all. It’s horrible for sure, but those who have the following traits, seem to be the ones who succeed through it:
A strong will to live
Are doing emotion-based healing work
Sadly, two relatives went the chemo route and they didn’t make it. I didn’t see them for years, and found out too late. I was unable to discern where they were at on their will to live. Both were very strong and loved women in their families.
Will to live can be a tough thing to measure in someone close to you - even if you possess clairsentient ability. Sometimes it’s the discarded parts of self that manifested into a physical inflammation turned into a physical condition.
Like all things I’ve logged as potential help for those experiencing cancer, its success has variables attached.
My dog of many years ago (rest in peace Sir Shanks) was diagnosed with stage 2 lymphoma and given a “2 months to live” assessment. He was prescribed chemo pills, but we opted for another treatment, which leads me to the next section.
4. TRADITIONAL MEDICINE
Specifically, Chinese medicine was what worked for my dogs, and for the numerous human patients of a friend. I cannot confirm if the humans combined these treatments with Industrial therapies like chemo.
About 10 years ago, my dog was diagnosed with two months to live on a stage 2 lymphoma assessment. That week, as I hesitated to give Sir Shanks the recommended chemo pills, I met a Chinese herbalist with 4 generations of specialization in cancer in both humans and animals. What luck eh?
He said “try my diet and supplements, and if you don’t see a change in 5 days, put him on the pills”. Within 3 days, Sir Shanks was acting like a young dog again. Shocking as he was a 12 year old Pekingese with a sometimes curmudgeonly disposition.

As for the Chinese herbalist, he is a remarkable human by the name of Marc Ching - if you google him you will see some nasty stories among great ones as well, as he pissed off some pretty influential people in his efforts to close down dog meat slaughterhouses in China. In my experience, he’s a phenomenal human and gave my dog 4 more years of life with dietary changes. He’s always been generous, caring and effective in helping me care for my pets.
Regarding healing and reducing cancer, how did he do it?
Well here’s the theory as I recall it - before cancer grows in the body, there’s an over-abundance of red yeast building up under the skin. When extracted through a particular form of wet cupping, it comes out looking like gnarly toothpaste like substance with shades of red. It is not the congealed blood that you see in a Hijamat/Hijama form of wet cupping.
Once the red yeast is significantly reduced in the body, this particular type of healer would address dietary sources next. What sources?
Sugar.
Sugar is believed to feed cancer. This seems to be consistent across Eastern, Western and Traditional forms of ancestral medicine, like Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shamanism systems in the Americas and probably more.
Dogs can’t experience wet cupping because… well… good luck wet cupping a dog.
Instead, the approach was:
Remove grains from the diet - grains in kibbles, rice, treats and so on
Add beneficial oils - like Krill oil which is supportive for a number of things
Add probiotics - the ones you keep in a fridge, in every meal
Add Turkey Tail mushroom - this is a powerful supplement that was added to Sir Shanks’ mid-day meal. This mushroom is linked with improvement of digestive function and specifically the treatment of cancer
Will to live increasing activities - this is my own addition, increasing his will to live by taking him to dog parks and spending more personal time with him
This set of changes to Sir Shanks’ lifestyle is not exclusive to benefiting dogs. All of the above seems to be widely believed to help humans heal from various cancers as well.
Of course, I did the occasional metaphysical exercise with Sir Shanks, but that’s a whole topic in and of itself. Which brings me to…
5. METAPHYSICAL MEDICINE
In my travels I’ve been seeking masters of the healing arts. One such master is Mayan Elder Abuelo Antonio Oxte, who is one of the most gifted healers I’ve met.
He is invited to help at John Hopkins’ hospital to help at the cancer ward.
I asked what he did to help people heal their cancer through metaphysical means and his answer is paraphrased below.
“It can take time. Everyone is different.”
When I asked him to elaborate, his answer went into the unique complexities of each person and what they struggle with. Essentially that how they’ve developed their psyche - their personality based on emotional and mental structures of self - is the puzzle to be loved into ‘solve’.
There’s also the famous Gregg Braden video of monks chanting a tumor into non-existence, though their approach is closer to principles of manifestation and the New Age concept of ‘timelines’.
In this clip - I do not know whether it’s real - the Tibetan monks are chanting “it’s done” over and over, with the held intent, trust and feeling that the person is already healed, while ‘willing’ that energy into the patient’s body.

This goes back to studies I read a while back regarding bio-photons and biophoton particle photography.
Biophotons are light particles that are produced in human cells and other living organisms. Here’s a great summary of biophotons from Live Science’s website.
They emit light at 1/1000th of a lumen from inside every cell in your body. For those who don’t know, lumens are the units of brightness lights are measured by. So a typical house lightbulb emits at 60-100 lumens, and a bio-photon particle camera has to be massively sensitive to catch that light. Consider the amount of supporting elements that need to exist for a camera like that to create legible imagery.
These particles of light leak out of our bodies throughout the day and recharge as we sleep or get direct sun exposure.
Emotional strain seems to increase leakage of this light, as do other factors.
It is my estimation that what healers sense when hands are on a body a sensing vacuums or voids of light, is the biophoton light particle densities in a body.

Two studies came across my path (I will re-locate the links and update soon - there was a time crunch with publishing this post initially : Mon Nov 11 2024).
One was about plants, where once again someone played aggressive music to one plant and another played soothing serene music to another plant.
However, this time, both plants were filmed with a biophoton particle camera and one leaked its particles throughout the day much faster than the other. Of course, that was the one which had aggressive music played to it.
The second study focused on humans with healthy and unhealthy cells. Free radical cells showed up as voids of light in the body, and the healthy cells showed up bright and vibrant.
What could we ascertain from this?
Loving energy and ease allows us to retain our light and energy. Stress, which is linked to activations of fear, drains us quickly of this light. This is what energy workers essentially transmit to our bodies, and the voids are linked to aspects of us which are not receiving ease, which are essentially void of love.
Love is medicine. Again and again.
At least that’s my take on it.
There’s more to add to these notes, but for now I’ll leave you with these, and I’ll add more as I can collect it into a reasonable format.
Feel free to message me if you’re struggling with cancer and I’ll share more of what I’ve learned on a personal, conversational friendly level.
