People i like and want you to know about : WOMEN’S DAY EDITION

I’m late for the token bullsh*t day - amusingly, a 23 hour day in the U.S; a country that has truly worked hard to anger its own resident women. Regardless, I did feel it would be a good reason to platform people I appreciate who happen to be women.

In alphabetical order to neutralize fears of favoritism:

Ariane Pacy - She hosts a number of events and meditations that are deeply unique. She studied at a mystery school for 2 decades and clearly pulls from those teachings which are as unique as they are rich. Here’s her juju, until her new website is up. Meanwhile, check my Youtube channel for a chat we had together where you get to see some of her wisdom and teachings in action.

Cynthia Alex - She is a highly devoted and passionate student of astrocartography, and is well-reviewed among friends I’ve introduced to her. Astrocartography is a trip of a modality I didn’t know existed. When Cyn did my chart, it was weird how in sync it was with my lived experience. For example, Thailand and Bali both showed up as extremely beneficial, loving and transformative for me, while Los Angeles showed up as a personal hell, and that checks out for me, without her knowing a damn thing about my past. She truly is exceptional at this work and puts a ton of heart into it. You can find her juju here.

Claire Cordell - I met Claire through discovering her soundbath (or rather, Cyn did) in Highgate, London, and I was blown away. Incredible attention to detail and care as well as a great, deep journey. Easily one of the best sound baths I’ve attended globally. Somehow I was transported to a fairy forest, while in a small basement room next to a busy main road. Beyond that, she’s a physical trainer, a breathwork wiz, a meditation guide and a powerful magician. She also has a profile on Insight Timer and her meditations really are special. Her juju can be found here.

Hope Obatala - She’s a Yoruban Priestess initiate - which is not the same as a fake Tuluminati / Bali / Los Angeles self-appointed priestess. In her faith, which is older than ‘modern’ Abrahamic religions, people go through structured initiations to earn the role, including long periods of abstinence and devotional practices. Hope is a gifted, skillful, powerful healer and has many talents. Her most celebrated work is the healing bath work she does, and her body work is exceptional. She initiates people into the Yoruban traditions and works with a large and devoted community in Los Angeles. You can find her here.

Karen Fahey - Aside from being a fire performer and world-class events organizer, she is a devoted student of ‘Cards of Destiny’; a system using playing cards that pre-dates Tarot. She gave me a reading once and it was insightful and rich. It seems to weave astrology and archetypes into a language around ‘your fate’ through using your birthday. Definitely worth experiencing. She has a youtube video here all about it, and her full set of magical skills can be found here. She is also a skilled candle magician, having conjured some miracles for herself and others she serves.

Kaitlyn Kaerhart - Kaitlyn tends to specialize in Numerology, despite knowing a ton about other modalities like astrology, astrocartography and human design. She even has Numerology based planners for the year, which you pick based on the numerology of your year; a cool idea I think. I had her do a numerology reading for me and it was eye opening. Another very unique experience. She shares a lot on her instagram and has stuff on her site too.

(Dr) Nadine Masako - My favorite Chinese herbalist and TCM wise-person. Her herbs helped reduce some symptoms of mine, and her pulse reading was shockingly good. She’s a massively talented medicine person across numerous disciplines and comfortably down to Earth, based between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. She hosts live workshops at Famers Markets across L.A and from her own venue in Las Vegas. More about her can be found here.

Shebala - Best Human Design reader I’ve ever known, by a gigantic leap. And she has a hell of a Swiss army knife of skills, having learned from Curanderas and magicians (including myself). She sells dressed candles too and gets crazy results as a candle magician! She’s a rare find and worth checking out. Here’s her site.

I’ll likely do this as a series as there are a reasonable amount of people I consider ‘hidden treasures’.
